Blog Post #1 Mobilization Stage

Hello Family & Friends!

We’ve taken to the blog world to try and keep everyone updated as Tim begins the toughest part of his fight against Multiple Myeloma! Below is blog post #1!

Tim is in the mobilization stage of his

Stem Cell Transplant journey. He had an 8 hour infusion of chemotherapy last Friday and will begin growth factor shots on Wednesday for ten days. We’ll be in Hackensack, at the JTCC, from Saturday 7/24 through 7/29. His stem cells will be harvested starting on 7/27. The technical term for that is Apheresis. Tim is somewhat familiar with this process as he use to donate platelets at Children’s Hospital in Philly. He assures us he will have no problems during this time!
